The industry standard is what you should exceed because it is the middle-of-the-line performance. There are thousands of good acts. The goal is to exceed and raise the bar of meritocracy.
I know the privilege of doing the extra work only helps and the habit of working wiser is necessary. With every practice, I get stronger and good things to happen to those who practice in making their skills better. I will exceed meritocracy by a mile.
