I would love to tell you more about the Silent, but I can’t remember. Tally marks cover my body. Too many, this does not mean anything, but to Doctor Who fans, this is about one of the newest villains. The Silent, you may have seen one and don’t even know it.
The premise of the Silent is they are creatures that live amongst us, and we see them every day. The problem is once we take our eyes off them, we instantly forget who they are, and we go on with our lives. They may tell us to do something, but when we do it, we think it was our subconscious, and we simply do it. They manipulate us like sheep, and we call it free will.
Villains you can’t remember, ideas that we think are ours, Aliens living amongst us and we don’t know it. How many times in your life have you seen something out of the corner of your eye, or creaking in your house, or breathing under your bed, or voices through a wall, it just could be the Silent’s that is watching you and controlling.
So I made this Silent for all to remember, and when you look upon your body and see a tally mark written with a Sharpie marker, you’re not a balloon artist who draws on themselves. You’re reminding yourself, you saw them.
