Magical Balloon-dude Dale was a name that I came up with some 25 years ago, which was derived from the magic I perform with balloons and that I was a dude. Hip for the 80s to be called dude. I chose to hyphenate the balloon and dude. The D in dude is lowercase; the craze in the 1980s was to have your office name placarded in lowercase.
Now, years later, my four-year-old son refers to our immediate family as Magical Balloon-Dad, Magical Balloon-Mom, and even the dog is Magical. It’s funny how a little change to a name by the right person can make my name sound so great!
