A Day in the Shoes of a Balloon Artist

An inflated balloon twisted into a balloon animal brings joy to a child, minutes later it pops, and tranquility and joy is replaced with remorse and crying.

Beautiful venue, happy people, polite kids, having a great time… one persons greedy egotistical attitude wrecks your peace of mind all through a sleepless night.

Working non-stop, sore feet, hungry, the need to pee and balloon line wraps around the corner.

We excessively buy balloon supplies when we work and make do when things get tight.

We plan our jobs, hour-by-hour, day-by-day, month-by-month while writing notes on our calendar for the days we shouldn’t work.

Each day we get up excited to do it all over again.
