Orland Hills, IL, February 25, 2011– Spring is just around the corner. The anticipation of another baseball season has Magical Balloon-dude Dale gearing up for his 7th season working at US Cellular Field. New designs and balloon creations are running through this comedic balloon entertainer’s head as he gets ready for the 2011 baseball season.
Each year the Chicago White Sox theme their kid’s day event, while Dale develops balloon designs to help further the theme. From wild outlandish baseball flying hats to decorative bracelets for the ladies to wear are just some of the arsenal of balloon designs for Dale to choose from when entertaining.
Dale roams the ballpark’s concourse, twisting balloons and joking with fans as people gather to get a balloon sculpture. Parents love the kid friend atmosphere that allows the little ones to stretch their legs after sitting for an inning or two.
This season kid’s day will be on these dates with the following themes.
- April 17 – Celebration of Spring
- May 22 – Sox Kids Expo (Health and Fitness related)
- June 26 – Southpaw’s Birthday (White Sox mascot)
- July 10 – Wild about the Sox (animal related)
- August 21 – Back to School-Carnival (carnival theme)
Two other special dates are:
- May 1 – Mother-Son Day
- June 12 – Father-Daughter Day
