The mbd2.com Auction started on 27 October 2005 at 6:52pm when Scott Tripp decide to auction off 2 bags of Qualatex 260Q Balloons. One bag of Onyx Black balloons, and one bag of Qualatex 260 Pearl Teal balloons along with his newest book "101 Jokes and One-Liners for Balloon Twisters"

This was a secrete auction designed to help raise funding to support the mbd2.com forum, which is run by Dale Obrochta (Magical Balloon-dude Dale). The auction was setup to help offset raising service cost. Since that day members have been taking it upon themselves to create a auctions to help raise funds to keep this forum going.
