Improved Press Release Section

I have been working really hard this year on getting my press releases
on the Internet as fast as I can. or as close to the event date as possible.
Needless to say I still have some from the beginning of the year to upload.
If you have a My Yahoo! account
or an MSN Account you can add the press release feed directly to your
account. This will automatically update your page and show you the newest
press release.
I'm 75% finished with the improvements
to the press release section. I have eliminated the dropdown menu for
most of the years and replace it with it's own page which appears to the
right of the menu.

32 Website Portfolios

When I first started out I would try to create the most complicated, detailed,
time consuming balloon sculptures. These were designed for fun, practice,
or just because I had time on my hands. After completing these works of
art I would take a picture and add it to my portfolio. As I develop as
an entertainer I started to develop marketing material and would use these
pictures in my advertisements.
I had a friend, another seasoned
balloon twister, look at the advertisement and I asked for his opinion;
he said "Why don't you make me three of these?" pointing to
a really cool balloon centerpiece. I look at him and said, "What
are you crazy? That took me 3 hours to make". My friend said, "If
this is what you're showing to the client, aren't they going to expect
you to make this at the event?" Boy did this get me thinking. How
many times have your heard flattering comments of a professional balloonist
or magician and when you see them perform it is nothing like their books
or videos? That is because what they display is not always what they do.
Avoid this mistake by making
sure what you show the client, is what, they will get. If it means increasing
show time to accomplish this, then do it. Make sure your portfolio contains
balloon sculpture that can be done numerous times at one event. Don't
mislead the client by showing work that is really cool, but can not be
achieved. This will only backfire on you and make you look bad. Improve
on the simple design; modify complicated designs to be cool, but not impossible.
