First Update for 2005

Hi everyone, we are happy to announce this is the fourth year for this
update newsletter. If you have missed any of the old updates (spelling
mistakes and all) can be found at

I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday and is getting ready for
the season. I have been busy update some promotional material for 2005
along with working on a new book.
First the new material –
I have updated and improved promotional print material, correct some text,

Here is the new schedule for the balloon twisting tract for the Jump Start
2005
We will be holding the event
between 8 am and 5 pm on Thursday, March 3rd at the Donald L Stevens Convention
Center in Rosemont, IL.
The Balloon Twister & Face
Painters Jam is set for 7:30 pm, it will also be hosted at the convention
center by Balloons-n-Funtimes & Transworld Exhibits - it should be
the party of the year!

Twisting for Beginners

Entertainers Tip 30 – Table Cards

I stumbled across this idea while surfing the Internet – Table Cards.
At first I did realize what a table card or table tent was and why would
somebody use them. But after giving it some thought, it occurred to me
how much potential there is by using table cards.
I think everyone has gone to
a restaurant and sat at a booth and noticed this triangle advertisement
sitting on the table. In restaurant terms they are call advertisement
tents. There purpose is to advertise a drink special or special event
that is going to happen at the restaurant. Since entertainers are always
looking on how to promote there kids night or family night at a restaurant
it occurred to me that this would be a good way of doing this.
So I when to the Microsoft website
and downloaded a table card template. It allows me to quickly develop
a table card, simply type my text and graphics and I was finished.
I proceed to go to my local printer
and have a dozen of them produced (2 to a page – 24 total). Cost
was just under $9.00 US to have them made.
The restaurant owner thought
that this was a great idea, considering he did not have to pay for the
printing. ;-)
