Balloon Twisting & Face Painting Jam

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the mbd2.com jam 4.
We had an excellent turn out for dinner; 52 people for dinner and about
80 people for the entire jam. It was interesting to see the creativity
of the face painters, and how they could turn a face in to a work of art.
Tony Wright unveiled is new creation,
an ice cream pump, Yep, he converted is pogo pump into a large chocolate
ice scream cone. Pictures of the pump are in the balloon jam photo section.
Nemo/nautical theme was the main
interest by twisters. Some Disney related characters, clowns and motorcycles.
A good majority of the night
I was asked questions about the digital badge and its capabilities. This
was one of the hot items at the balloon jam.
With the introduction of the
5” clown head, twisting a clown was one of the topics of discussion.
From this jam, you will see more clown balloons being made.
Over all the jam was a success,
many new and old friends where seen, mbd2.com forum members met each other,
business networks were established, and just a fun time over all. Many
people had cameras, which I’m still missing some pictures… Bob
(you have the picture of the cake). Will there be another jam? –

In the coming weeks, I will have new entertainers vest. These vests will
be M, L, and XL. I have a couple St. Patty’s day vests left in size
large (chest 42-44). Check back in 2 week to see the new vests.

Chat Room for the Forum

I’m in the process of running a test chat room in the mbd2.com balloon
forum. When you login to the forum you will see a chat icon. This icon
will take you to a chat login screen. The chat room has three default
rooms, Twisting, Decorating, Entertaining, which allows text conservations.
Options are changing color text, send emotion (smiley faces), bold, italic,
underline text, and creating additional chat rooms.
This is open for all registered
users. I’m looking for feedback on its performance, and how it affects
my server and band width. I have created a poll in the forum update to
see if the feature is needed.

Boy, have things changed. When I first started sending out update notices,
it was just a couple of line saying “hey, new pictures at...”,
but this site has grown bigger, and bigger, and with cooler stuff. As
a result, the two-line email has now gone to the ezine format. I have
now started archive these messages and will have a link off the update
notice form and at the end of the email.
