Happy Halloween everyone – Well I’ve had a couple of minutes
free so I created another Halloween Gull. He or should I say It, stand
about three feet tall and was created in about 2 hours – Would have
been faster, but was making it up as I went along. Enjoy…

Balloon Jam 5 is shaping up to be a well round group of entertainers.
The focus is on balloons, so I will be showing off a couple designs as
will others. I will be looking for support from manufactures to see if
they can provide samples for the group to experiment with.

The Power of a good flyer – Last entertainers tip #28 I discussed
creating a flyer that can be attached to takeout orders. Here is a follow
up.
I was approached by one of the
owners of Bartolini’s and wanted to know if I saw the local newspaper.
I said “no”. What happened was Bartolini’s ran an advertisement
and to their surprise it included the takeout flyer. Bartolinis inquired
who ran the takeout ad and were told that the ad department liked the
flyer and figured they had the space and Bartolini’s had paid for
advertisement that they would include the flyer along with the Bartolini’s
ad. Bartolini’s received a double advertising for the same price.
Yes, free advertisement for both
the restaurant and me. This creative flyer has now paid for itself just
for being run in the newspaper. So when developing your flyer keep in
mind that it can be used for more than just a takeout flyer.

Boy, have things changed. When I first started sending out update notices,
it was just a couple of line saying “hey, new pictures at...”,
but this site has grown bigger, and bigger, and with cooler stuff. As
a result, the two-line email has now gone to the ezine format. I have
