Exchange traded funds are investment units, purchased by investors, which represent a basket of stocks that track the performance of a certain index or sector. Although ETFs haven't been around long - they were introduced in 1993 - there are over 120 different ETFs in which you can invest. For example shares of Diamonds, represent ownership of the stocks that comprise the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA). When you invest in one of these units, you seek investment results that will closely track the performance of the DJIA. Keep in mind, that there is no guarantee that the results of the investment will match the index exactly. Another ETF is the SPDR (commonly called "spiders"), which is intended to correspond to the movements of the Standard and Poor's 500 Index, or S&P 500. "Cubes" are another ETF that closely follows the performance of the Nasdaq-100 Index, an index composed of the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq National Market. Because ETFs trade on a stock exchange, you can buy and sell them throughout the day. The value of an ETF is computed at regular intervals, so the price you see quoted for an ETF is relatively close to the value of its underlying shares. Also because you can see what stocks make up a particular index or sector, ETF holdings are transparent, meaning you always know what your investment is comprised of and how much of each industry you are exposed to. You should also keep in mind that ETFs are a portfolio of stocks that are overseen or managed and there is a fee associated with investing in them. An investment in an ETF will fluctuate such that shares when redeemed my be worth more or less than the original investment. Now that you have a better understanding of what an ETF is and how it works, call me for your prospectus at 708-361-1229 and ask for Lorraine Schultz. Let's discuss if ETF's are right for you. At first look, I would have simply walk pass it saying, Nope, they dont need entertainment. Little about Bartolinis -- I would say this restaurant is more of a pickup restaurant, order food and take it home. They do have a small seating area, which in December 03 double in size along with adding a formal banquet hall. They have good food and have loyal customers. I have been working there now
for just over a year this month. It started by the owner seeing me entertain
in another restaurant. I entertained his family and the wife suggested
that I consider doing it for there restaurant. I gave them my business
card and that was the last I heard from them. Two months later, I was
doing a birthday party at a restaurant call Bartolinis (recognize the
name) and here was this guy that I saw months before He was the
owner. It only took him and his brother (other Now lets back track for a minute, my job is to entertain which draws crowds, please customer customer relations, make the event or experience special balloon entertaining does this. Then every restaurant, fancy sit-down, pickup-seat-yourself establishments can use an entertainer. I did not make this connection until I read Buches book, now I see so many opportunities that there is not enough of me to go around. So my advice to you is dont over look anything, there is more work available then we can fill. Just keep an open mind and your eyes open.
