Snowman Kit

I have put together a kit to make a 16" snowman using Link-O-Loon
balloons. The kit includes LOL balloons (50 ct) balloons, instructions,
book on drawing (Faces, Faces, Balloon Faces), bag of 160Bs (100 ct) and
step-by-step instructions.

Digital Badges Update

In the last mbd2.com Update Notice, I told you about a digital badge that
I was going to wear while performing. Here is a quick update about the
product, its performance, and experience.
The produce is a digital badge
that can display a 118 character-scrolling message. The badge uses an
inexpensive battery and operates for 16-20 hours. It has a magnetic clip
preventing damage to clothing.
The badge is easy to operate,
on/off button, battery is secure – does not fall out, and change
the messages have been error free. I have learned that when the battery
is at it lowest point, the badge will not except a new message from the
RAT (remote access transmitter). However, battery swamping is no big deal,
flip the badge over, push out old battery, and replace with new battery.
I am amazed on how many people
have commented on the badge, wanting to know how it works, can I program
it, were did I get it, all great for starting up a conservation with people
strangers. I also have people who strain their eyes from across the room
trying to read the message(s). This is a perfect opportunity to approach
and introduce myself and present a business card and make them a balloon.
It does matter if they have kids or not, they were interested in the scrolling
badge. It has added a small increased to the tips and added a perceive
value to my restaurants.
My restaurant owner think it
cool that I can advertise there name while entertaining and they don’t
mind that it say “tip accepted” after they company slogan. I
would have to say that I happy with the digital badge and it results.

Entertainers Tip 22 – Twist

I have worked with a many entertainers who comment that I do completed
balloons, and they prefer the simple teddy bear and heart. “Its simpler
and easier to make” they will say. Let’s think about it for
a minute a simple teddy bear has about 12 twists. A quick snowman I make
requires five twists total, two balloons – DONE! If I do the Link-O-Loon
snowman, it requires eight twist four balloons. Let take this a step farther,
if you are doing 100 teddy bears in an hour, which is 100 x 12 = 1,200
twist versus 100 x 8 = 800 twists. I doesn’t take a genius to realize
that if you’re doing balloons all day you many want to reduce body
stress reducing the number of twists. In addition, you will be doing a
holiday balloon appropriate for the event. Twist less, twist wise, that’s
what I say.
Are you making Angels? Three
white hearts, pink 5” round, three twists – you’r done.
Inflate heart, attach round to
the heart nozzle, under inflate two hearts make a bubble on the heart
bumps – twist bumps together making wings. Twist the wing bump into
the round/heart nozzle making heart wings - add a face and your done.
Advance people add a pinch twist
to 5” round then attach heart. When adding wings, Angel will become
a girl Angel.

Boy, have things changed. When I first started sending out update notices,
it was just a couple of line saying “hey, new pictures at...”,
but this site has grown bigger, and bigger, and with cooler stuff. As
a result, the two-line email has now gone to the ezine format. I have
