Balloon Animal Database

People always want to know how to make certain balloon animals. Therefore,
I have started to develop a searchable balloon animal database. This database
will allow you to search by author, skill level, animal, character looks
like, and media type.
The search program will display
a list of the results, which will have detail hyperlink to the specific
design. The detail hyperlink will give full information about the book,
DVD, CD, or video along with showing a picture of the product. If more
information is available about the product a more link will be provide.
This like will either give a preview of the product or link you to the
store directly.
I am presently working with vendors
and hope to have all their data entered into the system in the next couple
of weeks.

Entertainers Tip 20 – Leaving
a telephone number

We all have done it, and some of us are still doing it. You call a customer,
friend, family member and you leave a voice message but instead of saying
the numbers nice and slow, we become an auctioneer.
Isn’t it frustrating when
you have to keep replaying the message, straining to figure out what the
numbers are; or worse yet, you have to call another person over to listen
to the message. Here are some tips for leaving a message.
1. Speak slower - Slow down
when you are leaving a message, you are not an auctioneer.
2. Pronounce your name clearly
- Announce your name slowly and clearly, especially if your name is
not a common name. Spell your name slowly if necessary. Allow people
to get the correct spelling of your name.
3. Slow down when saying your
telephone number – If you want the person to call you back say
the number slowly, pause between area code and after the first couple
of digits.
4. Combining Numbers –
It may be easy for you to remember your last four digits of your telephone
number is eleven eighteen (xxx-1118 ), but when leaving this number
say xxx-one, one, one, eight.
Why? When listening to a message
you place yourself in number mode. This means any number you hear your
going to write down.
Example: You start the message.
You hear a number and quickly start writing, and then you hear eleven
eighteen. First think you have to figure out is eleven – one, one,
then eighteen. First sound you hear is eight so you right eight down.
Look at the numbers and you have xxx-118? You hit replay and listen
to the message again. Do not use teen numbers say each number individually
and slowly.
5. Give your company name,
your title & why you are calling - Describe to the person, in a
few short sentences who you are, which company you are with and why
you are calling. If you are requesting information, leave a detailed
but brief message.
6. Let them know when to call
you back - Leave a date, time, and preferred telephone number for people.
They can't return your telephone call if you don't leave your telephone
number. Providing them with the preferred time to call back makes it
much easier for them.
