I have been asked, "When is the next balloon jam?" I have selected
Thursday, April 3, 2003 for the next balloon jam. The location will be
the same as last time, Gertie's Ice Scream/ Lyndies Chili Parlor.
There will be a Balloon Twisting
Contest. This contest well challenge everyone who would like to participate
in a 15 minute, use any balloons you like 160 through 646, rounds to geo's,
and gluing is okay. It will be open to any balloon twister. All twisters
attending and participating will do judging. If you are participating,
you cannot vote for yourself, you have to vote for someone else. First
prize is $50.00 cash out of my pocket. So YES, I will be participating
in the balloon twisting contest. As more develops I will tell you more
about the contest.

and 2 blocks East of LaGrange Road on 63rd Street -
6150 East Avenue, Hodgkins, IL Telephone (708) 482-8647 - Located behind
Sams Club next to Cinema.
What's a Balloon Jam you ask?
A Balloon Jam is were balloon entertainers, beginners, intermediate, and
advance twister get together and share ideas, designs, and contacts.
Who should attend? This is open
to professional entertainers, balloon hobbyist, clowns, jugglers, and
magicians.
Supplies, you bring what you
want to use, 260's, 350's, 160's, rounds, rubber gloves. Yes, some entertainer
use rubber gloves to make there creations.
Cost - Free….BUT, I would
encourage you to purchase something for the restaurant that is sponsoring
this event.
Time 5:00-10:00 p.m.

Here is a quick update about the book that I am writing. I am working
on the final additions and hoping to get the book to print so. The ISBN
number has arrived and the final changes to the cover are being worked
out. Other then that everything is going great. I am still getting quotes
from printers on this job, so I cannot give a final retail price for the
book. The guestimate price I would like to see is between $15-19.00 retail.
The book will have between 26-28 pages, back and white, color cover, and
size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches. I have included the index page to give you a
sample of what the book will cover.

February is her and it Valentines again. This year I have very busy, and
was only able to get the little Heartman balloon figure on the Kids Stuff
page, but hopefully in the next couple of day I can add more photos.

New Video's on Balloon Hats

If you have not checkout the online store lately, you may have missed
the two new videos on balloon hats. Dynamic Interactive Cranial Decoration
Vol 2 contains 34 hats, 8 masks and a variety of nose. In addition, the
video contains ideas on how to consume a Knight, a Dragon, Scuba Diver,
Bride, Sheriff and a Witch. In the second video Dynamic Interactive Cranial
Decoration Vol 5 there are Cartoon Based Hats - Rabbit, Dog, and Fox Hats
- Bomb w/fuse - Mouse and Mouse Hats - Darth Vader Mask - Elmo, Cookie,

Boy, have things changed. When I first started sending out update notices,
it was just a couple of line saying "hey, new pictures at...",
but this site has grown bigger, and bigger, and with cooler stuff. As
a result, the two-line email has now gone to the ezine format. I have
