The Osbournes

I was joking a round with a customer at my Friday restaurant (Jullanni's Pizza, Palos Heights, IL) when we started talking about the Osbourne family and I had mentioned that it would be cool to make Ozzy out of balloons. After all, Elvis has been made out of balloons, why not the Price of Darkness - OZZY!

So here it is, Ozzy, Kelly, and Jack. I will have Sharon and the Lola finished this week. I getting ready for Christmas and time is ticking away.

New Balloon Instructions - Bart Simpson

I have just started working with a balloon artist out of the UK (Magic G) who has made available FREE instructions for Bart Simpson. This program will require you to have a flash stand-alone player to view this file, if you do not have one, you can down-load one for free from macromedia.com

Chicago Balloon Jam

We had an excellent turn out for the Chicago Balloon Jam - Had about 35 people attend and 25 balloon entertainers. We would have hand another 10-15 people if the sky did not open up, and bucks of water were not coming down. The event was scheduled for 6:00-10:00 pm, but the last four people left at 11:00 pm. The last hour was spend more talking about balloon marketing, working with other entertainers, and just go old clowning around among friends.

Paul Bachman was nice enough to walk around taking pictures of everything and even offered, at no charge, to convert his 44+ digital picture to a CD for anyone who would give him there address. Thanks Paul! Have not received my copy yet as soon as I do, I will post the pictures.

Roger Seigel gave a quick impromptu demonstration on how to twist a dog with one hand. Roger is the only entertainer that I know that can twist basic dog in each hand -- two hands, two dogs. You will see in the photos that Roger showing off a quick angle outfit, that can be making out of 260Q. He also showed, which I did not get a photo of, was a quick 2-balloon laser gun.

Dave Evans was talking about the Marsall Brodien celebrity roast. Marshall is best known for is TV Magic cards and magic kits, along with being Wizo on the Bozo Circus Show. Talk is that Pen and Teller alone with Copperfield will be attending. Event is schedule for this month.

Rick Mohr had a preview of his new book that he was working on - Fun to get a sneak preview. Mike Mauthe and Ken Shultz talked about the Haunted Nights and Six Flags Great America. Mike and Ken have been doing that account for over 6 years.

We had some excellent braining storming on how to improve the election balloon pump Majaloon pump. We have improved the batter connections, and have provided a better cooling system.

Hot designs were Sponge Bob, Tiger, Alien, and Goofy.
Everyone wanted Milky Way White Galaxy Markers; I brought 12 and left with none.
Balloon Bags - Everyone was interested in the Deluxe Apron

I have to thank Michelle my wife for her help in making this a very successful Balloon Jam. Here are the photos of the event. I hope to get more balloon photos in the next couple of weeks.

Christmas Orders

Just a little reminder to get your Christmas orders in now. Sometimes people wait until last minute to order Christmas presents and they don't get there on time. If you order now you will be sure to make someone's holiday just a little twisted.

COOL Color Markers.
- - - -
Look out Sharpie, these a new Marker in town. That's right folks, a better colored marker the Sharpie. I came across this company while researching white markers and just fell in love with there colors. If you do any drawing on a balloon, then you should really consider have the Milky Way White marker in your balloon arsenal. These are not just markers, but actually paint pens that work like markers. Unlike other paint pens, which require shaking or push a pin in, to get the pain to flow. The Galaxy Markers are ready to use as soon as you take of the cap.

I have stopped using my blue Sharpie marker and have replaced it with the Earth Blue marker. The Earth Blue marker is a soft pale blue marker that looks great on the pale blue 260Q balloon. I am no longer using the Sharpie Red for drawing tongues, but have switched to the Plasma Pink. When you think about it the tongues is more pink then red. The Plasma Pink is perfect for tongues.

Boy, have things changed. When I first started sending out update notices, it was just a couple of line saying "hey, new pictures at...", but this site has grown bigger, and bigger, and with cooler stuff.
