With Paul and Roger attending this jam, will have over 70 years of professional entertainment experience between two people. Another person I have invited is Chuck Gruberman owner of Chuck's House of Magic. Chuck and wife Joyce are the founding member of IBAC (International Balloon Arts Convention) held in Rosemont, IL. I talked with Joyce and she will be checking their calendar. If Chuck and Joyce can attend, you will learn more about IBAC and the balloon design programs. Pass the word November 14th is the twisted date!
Who should attend? This is open to professional entertainers, balloon hobbyist, clowns, jugglers, and magicians. Supplies, you bring what you want to use, 260's, 350's, 160's, rounds, rubber gloves. Yes, some entertainer use rubber gloves to make there creations. Cost - Free….BUT, I would encourage you to purchase something for the restaurant that is sponsoring this event. Gertie's Ice Cream - Lindies Chili Parlor. Location: Gertie's Lindies, 6150 East Avenue, Hodgkins, IL Telephone (708) 482-8647 - 63rd Street and LaGrange. The restaurant is located behind the Quarry Shopping mall (where Wal-Mart / Sam's Club are) and next to the Quarry Cinema Time 6:00-10:00 p.m. Please email me if you are interested in coming. I need to have a proximate number count for safety reasons. Thanks Subject Balloon Jam Email dale@mbd2.com = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Markers Update The first marker is the white marker, which I have talked about in entertainer's tip 7. They sent me the following broad point markers which colors are sunspot yellow, astro orange, martin green, purple, nebula, deep space black, Milky Way white, plasma pink, earth blue, and rocket red. The other style markers they sent is a medium point marker. Colors: brown, teal, purple, blue, orange, pink, green, and black. Since these markers only arrived yesterday, I have had little time to test them out, but will let you now how they work in the next couple of days.

I thought about that stretching thing for the next couple of days when it accrued to me. When I was little my mom would always get out of bed and stretch. Mom said she picked up this habit up from Grandpa. Grandpa stretched everyday. Grandpa figured, if animals do it all day long, why not us. Now that I am older and have a dog, I have learned that when she wants to play, she will stretch, then get rambunctious, and bring me a toy. If you ever talk with a professional entertainer work to them is more like playing. So now, this stretching thing had become more important to me now. I will stretch out my fingers and arms on the way to the show and again after the show. It only takes a couple of minutes and like my puppy, I want to make sure I give 100% when I play - or should I say work. They should be in production soon.
