Griffith Aurelio’s Kids Night Re-Opens after Summer Tornado

Orland Hills, IL, October 29, 2008 – Aurelio’s Restaurant in Griffith Indian will be resuming its popular kid’s night after a tornado ripped the roof off the building roof and suspending restaurant operations and closing the dining room.  On October 29th the Magical Balloon-dude Dale will be returning back to entertain Aurelio’s customers with his comedic balloon entertainment form 5:30-7:30 pm. Kids under 10 and accompanied with an adult will eat free.

On August 4 about 8:30 pm, a tornado ripped through the Griffith neighborhood North of Ridge Road and East of Cline Avenue.  In its destructive path was Aurelio’s restaurant. The tornado damaged suspended the popular kids night along with closing the dining room, but takeout was available weeks later.
